Amy Scruggs

Amy Scruggs has long been recognized by those who know her as a force of nature, “an upbeat tornado with energy and focus like no one you’ve ever met,” as one friend puts it. Amy Scruggs is also a woman who knows the power of hope, the pain of self-renewal, and the way that music can help feed both. It is a connection destined to allow Amy to finally live her dream of taking her music to country audiences everywhere. Preparing for her upcoming debut album “Right Here Right Now” June 13th, Amy will feature various acredited songwriters such as Grammy winner R. L. Castleman, (Alan Jackson), and songwriters James Dean Hicks (Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis), and Dillon Dixon, (George Jones).
To see her on stage is to see a woman consumed with music, someone whose life and art are infused with passion and joy that grow out of an indomitable spirit. Having recently opened for the band Mogollon at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino, Amy quickly gained attention in the town of Payson having been featured on stations 96.3 FM KRIM 98.5 FM KCMA, KMOG 1420 AM, and performing on AZTV with her oldest son. She is, above all, a fiery performer who conveys the realities of the human condition, its joys and sorrows, in a way that links her unforgettably with her audience’s hearts and spirits.

Aubrey Bouskill
"She's the real deal", Says Erwin Rocha (Aubrey Bouskill's producer), "Pianist, prolific song writer and singer with a remarkable voice". Erwin started working with Aubrey in June 2003 after hearing a recording she made for a songwriting contest.
"My music comes from very personal experiences", Aubrey says, "Some people keep journals, I write songs, It's how I cope with life". Songwriting is part inspiration and part perspiration. Her inspiration can come from anywhere. "I saw a car run a red light and it became a song." The perspiration comes when you mold that idea into the finished song. "I never thought recording an album could be such hard work."
Her debut album is scheduled to release in 2008. "When we started recording, it was only going to have nine songs", Aubrey recalls. Now the album has 14 songs and she has enough material to make two more albums. " I'm interested to see how people will react to my music." Having only performed for friends and small audiences. She says, "The idea of sharing my music with the world is like jumping out of a plane and not knowing if my chute will open." Find out more about Aubrey. www.AubreyBouskill.com
