Painted Magic Drill Team
Painted Magic Pro Rodeo Drill Team is an all women equestrian drill team organized in 1992 to perform in rodeos, parades and various exhibitions under the direction of Valentina Schafer. With a strong love for riding their paint horses, this group of dedicated ladies perform an enthusiastic, eye-catching rodeo speciality act. High speed maneuvers combined with color-in-motion provide the excitement to involve, entice and entertain the audience. It is their policy to donate monies earned to equestrian programs for handicapped children.
For the Norco Rodeo, Painted Magic is sponsored by Inland Vet Supply. Applications for new members may be obtained by calling Valentina Schafer at 951-532-2044.

Jeff “Slim” Garner
One of “America’s funniest Rodeo Clowns,” Jeff Garner from Fredonia, Kansas, started clowning rodeos at the age of seventeen. He earned his pro card and has been featured at many top rodeos from Minnesota to Florida. Clowning and fighting bulls was not only a dream come true, but a way of life for him, being a second-generation clown and bull-fighter.
